A seminar by the GLCI Academy. Developed and delivered by members of the expert group “Takt Planning and Takt Control” of the German Lean Construction Institute.
Learn from Lean Construction experts from the GLCI Academy’s teaching team. They share their personal experiences and lessons learned, their specialist knowledge, and their motivation for introducing and applying Lean methods and tools in the construction industry with you. This includes individual tips and tricks for the first steps of practical implementation.
Seminar objective and benefits
The method of Takt planning and Takt control is increasingly widespread and is currently attracting significant international attention. The method is based on a highly structured approach and makes use of repeatability in construction projects. Short-cycle control ensures the necessary stability. The result is a scalable construction process.
In the seminar “Basics of Takt Planning and Takt Control,” participants learn—within the framework of an interactive learning simulation—the procedure and advantages of the method. Working independently together with the learning group, they develop a Takt plan and implement it in a model. In this way, they experience what prerequisites must be created and what potential lies in applying the method. Based on the extensive expertise of the GLCI community, the seminar offers an excellent and compact introduction to the topic.
